It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that the Orland Fire Protection District announces the loss of Firefighter Wesley B. Peak.
 

“It is with deep regret that the Orland Fire Protection District announces the passing of Firefighter Wesley Peak at the age of 36. Wes was with the Orland Fire Protection District for 7 years. He touched so many lives in a positive way. It is equally heartbreaking to the organization as it is on his family.

Wes was killed in a tragic single vehicle accident this morning. The accident is still under investigation. There are no additional details at this time. The arrangements will be made available once finalized.”
