Keep the Wreath RedBack to Recent News Page
The Orland Fire Protection District urges everyone to help keep the wreath red from December 1st to January 4th.
A wreath is illuminated with red bulbs at each of the OFPD fire stations. This is to remind everyone to practice holiday fire safety. If a fire occurs in which holiday decorations are determined to be involved during the holiday season, one of the red light bulbs with be changes to a white light bulb. This serves as a reminder of the safety precautions that must be observed this holiday season.
The OFPD urges all citizens in the community to help keep the wreath red by eliminating unwanted fires by practicing fire safety both at home and at work.
