Parents CPR

Community CARE ProgramCPR, ACLS, Call Management for Cardiac Arrest, and Advanced Airway Management classes are brought to you by the Orland Fire Protection District EMS Bureau. For more information, please call (708) 349-0074. Course enrollment is confirmed upon completion of registration and payment. Department PO’s are accepted.





Thank you for showing interest in the Orland Fire Protection District’s courses.

Following the guidance of the CDC, IDPH, State of Illinois, and Cook County Health, the District is canceling all public education events and classes until further notice. If you have already paid for a course, a refund is being applied to the account that you used to make that payment. You should see the full refund in your account within 7-10 business days.

Friends & Family CPR

The FREE Family & Friends CPR course is for anyone interested in learning CPR that does not need a completion card. Registration is still required so that the Orland Fire Protection District can accommodate all requests. CPR classes are conducted at Station 3 (view map).


 

Basic Life Support Provider CPR

Basic Life Support Provider CPR is for the professional that needs CPR as a term of employment. This course follows the guidelines for CPR and foreign body airway obstruction maneuvers outlined by the American Heart Association. Cost of the course is $45.00. CPR classes are conducted at Station 3 (view map).


 

ACLS Refresher

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Refresher requires a current Basic Life Support Provider CPR card. The cost of the ACLS Refresher is $125.00 without a textbook. If you wish to purchase a textbook, it is an additional $50.00. You may rent a textbook for $25.00, but the textbook must be returned at the end of class in order to receive certification. ACLS classes are conducted at the Training Facility (view map).

Advanced Airway Management

The Advanced Airway Management class is designed to give pre-hospital personnel the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to effectively and efficiently manage virtually any airway issue they may encounter. The cost of the course is $75.00. Advanced Airway classes are conducted at the Training Facility (view map).
