Michael Schofield
Michael Schofield (with the District since 5/1/79) is the Orland Fire Protection District’s Fire Chief. Appointed and held accountable by the Board of Trustees, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is the highest-ranking officer in the Fire District. He is responsible for aligning the entire Fire District with the vision of the Board of Trustees.
Deputy ChiefNicholas Cinquepalmi Nicholas Cinquepalmi (with the District since 5/30/89) is the Orland Fire Protection District’s Deputy Chief. Appointed and held accountable by the Board of Trustees, he serves as the Fire District’s second in command next to the Fire Chief. He is responsible for Dispatch and Risk Reduction Life Safety Divisions. Each of the above areas is overseen by a Supervisor/Lieutenant who reports to Deputy Chief Cinquepalmi. |
Operations ChiefDavid Piper Operations Chief David Piper (with the District since 10/6/97) manages the Orland Fire Protection District’s Operations Services. These services include Training, EMS, and Special Operations Divisions. Each of the above areas is overseen by a Supervisor/Lieutenant who reports to Operations Chief Piper. |
Administrative ChiefDaniel Smith Administrative Chief Dan Smith (with the District since 1/23/89) manages the Orland Fire Protection District’s Administrative Services. These services include Physical Resources and Technical Resources Divisions. Each of the above areas is overseen by a Supervisor/Lieutenant who reports to Administrative Chief Smith. |
Battalion ChiefRobert “RJ” Stachnik Battalion Chief Robert “RJ” Stachnik (with the District since 12/14/87) is responsible for the Gold Shift of firefighters and paramedics. He monitors and manages the day-to-day operations of this shift. Each station has a staff of two Gold Shift Lieutenants who report directly to Battalion Chief Stachnik. |
Battalion ChiefWilliam Leddin Battalion Chief William Leddin (with the District since 10/1/80) is responsible for the Red Shift of firefighters and paramedics. He monitors and manages the day-to-day operations of this shift. Each station has a staff of two Red Shift Lieutenants who report directly to Battalion Chief Leddin. |
Battalion ChiefJoseph Moore Battalion Chief Joseph Moore (with the District since 8/7/95) is responsible for the Black Shift of firefighters and paramedics. He monitors and manages the day-to-day operations of this shift. Each station has a staff of two Black Shift Lieutenants who report directly to Battalion Chief Moore. |
