The Bureau is composed of one Battalion Chief, a Supervisor, two
full-time fire
inspectors, and five part-time fire inspectors. |

The Orland Fire Protection District has adopted the 2006
International Fire Code with exceptions. The document citing the
exceptions can be downloaded
here. You must obtain a copy of the full code and note our
changes or you can discuss the code with members of the Fire
Prevention Bureau. |

Residential
Knox Box Loan Program
If someone at your residence has special medical needs, you can
provide access to Orland Fire paramedics by using our knox box
loan program. This prevents a door or window being broken to gain
access in an emergency when no one is home to open the door. Your
house key will be put in a secure metal box that ONLY the Orland
Fire District paramedics can open.

their emergency contact information up-to-date. Each occupancy in a
multi-use building should have information available. This may
prevent damage to the building in case we need to get inside.
