ASSIGNMENTS
All fire companies are assigned an Officer, a Driver/Operator and
a Firefighter.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Twenty-four hours on, forty-eight hours off. A twenty- four hour
shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
MUTUAL AID
The Orland Fire Protection District is a
member of MABAS 19. The Mutual Aid Box Alarm System links fire
departments across the State of Illinois, and even includes fire
departments in neighboring states. If an incident overpowers the
resources of the initial fire department, surrounding agencies
supply additional help. |
